NEW Eenee Compostables
A number of companies promote their disposable nappy as an eco-nappy however they still contain the same amounts of non-degradable plastics as normal disposable nappies and must be disposed of in your rubbish bin and our landfill sites.
Eenee didn’t think that made those nappies “eco” so we came up with another solution – a world’s first nappy that can be fully commercially composted.
Why are they compostable?
Eenees is a 100% Australian owned, designed and manufactured product (not a European import), increasing jobs and cutting down on carbon miles.
Eenee Compostables look like any other disposable nappy except that a gripper belt is used to secure the nappy instead of plastic side tabs. Made from cornstarch plastics and other renewable plant based materials the nappy is soft, absorbent, with a 'dry-feel' lining.
Eenee Compostables is commercially compostable because it is made from:
How do they compare to other nappies?
Eenee Compostables are as absorbent as any other disposable. The cost per nappy is slightly more than Moltex or Bambo Nature (but for the few cents more you will actually be buying something environmentally positive).
The state of the art material used in Eenee Compostables is also better for your baby skin than standard disposable nappies that use traditional plastic film. Eenee Compostables is made with a breathable material that allows maximum airflow to reduce any heat or irritation.
The flexible design also means they can be used as adult continence pads as well.
Where can I buy them?
Of Course Chris’ Dial a Nappy will stock them.
Because we are really on about making a difference this product will only be available to those retailers who really understand the Eenee difference.
You will be able to buy the nappies even though the pick-up service may not be in your area.
How much are they?
Small 2-8kg 100pk $67
Medium 7-15kg 88pk $78
Large 15kg+ 72 $88
Gripper belts in small, medium, large $7.95
Keep posted - Eenee Compostable wipes will be available in a few months.
Home delivery service
Soon you can keep all of your nappy waste out of landfill. A pick-up service will be established across Melbourne area by area. This process may take some time, because we want this to be a sustainable alternative in-step with our ability to increase the commercial composting of the nappies.
The pick-up costs are approximately $25 - $35 per month depending on your use of nappies and accessories.
A home delivery service will deliver your monthly nappies and pick up the used nappies for composting. This service will be available to CDAN customers soon.

Eenee Hybrid Nappy System
We offer the only fully biodegradable disposable nappy system in the world.
Let us show you how you can completely avoid putting any nappy waste into
landfill. This system is so versatile you can even use it with traditional
cloth nappies or the superabsorbent modern microfibre nappies.
When we consider the environmental values of a product we look at whether organic farming and/or sustainable practices are used in the production of raw materials, reusability, biodegrability, adding of value to our quality of life and the promotion of accurate information.
Currently we only stock the Eenee Weenee brand of nappies under this heading as this is the only nappy system in the world that can currently prove they biodegrade. If you have a brand that appears to have biodegradable properties please contact us for verification. Unfortunately there is a great deal of misinformation surrounding the biodegradability of nappies. Let us point you in the right direction.
